Grant closes October 5, 2026 at 5 P.M. EDT

Now in its third year, Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB) launched the Young Indigenous Business Grant, a grant open to young Indigenous entrepreneurs. The grant, presented by Loblaw Companies Limited with contributions from CIBC, is open to Indigenous entrepreneurs under the age of 35 operating their businesses in Canada.

The Young Indigenous Business Grant is administered through CCIB’s Tools for Indigenous Business (TIB) program.

To complete your application, please have the following information and documents readily available:

  • Name of the Indigenous owner holding at least 51% ownership (proof of Indigenous ancestry required)
  • Legal business name and date established
  • Legal business structure (ownership documentation required)
  • Number of employees (full-time and part-time)
  • Business description
  • The business should be for profit
  • Individuals born on or before September 8, 1991 are ineligible to apply.
