Harjote S. Sumbal is an associate in Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP’s business law group, with a practice focusing on tax and general corporate and commercial matters. He assists senior counsel in advising clients on various matters, including: tax planning for commercial transactions; tax-efficient corporate structuring and reorganizations; and tax litigation.

Harjote also has experience drafting agreements for infrastructure and construction projects, negotiating public procurements, and advising on public-private partnerships matters. Harjote spent a year in Ottawa clerking for the justices of the Tax Court of Canada.
