About Midwest Pipelines Inc.

Established in 1974, Midwest Pipelines has grown to become one of the few major pipeline construction contractors in Canada with the expertise and resources to construct large-diameter cross-country pipelines.

Midwest Pipelines has a proven track record of working collaboratively with Indigenous communities through direct employment, subcontracting opportunities, and meaningful contributions to Indigenous organizations, initiatives, and community events. We are committed to building respectful, transparent, and mutually beneficial relationships founded on trust, collaboration, and shared success.

People are at the core of our business. Our construction personnel bring decades of pipeline construction experience, enabling us to consistently deliver complex projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.

Midwest delivers pipeline construction projects across a wide range of diameters and project scopes. From smaller pipelines and facility tie-ins to large-diameter cross-country transmission systems, we have the experience, equipment, and personnel to execute projects safely and efficiently. Although we perform work of all sizes, we are particularly recognized for our expertise in constructing NPS 24 to NPS 56 pipelines, where our extensive fleet of 200-ton pipelayers provides a significant competitive advantage.  In addition, through our strategic partnerships, we have access to one of the largest fleets of heavy equipment in North America, giving us the capacity and flexibility to execute pipeline construction projects of virtually any size or complexity.
