Turnpenney Milne LLP was formed in May 2010 by Rachel Turnpenney and Catherine Milne. Turnpenney Milne LLP focuses exclusively on Workplace Law. Our practice encompasses all aspects of the employment relationship from the pre-hiring stage to termination and retirement. The firm represents both employers and employees, and successfully mediates and negotiates legal disputes on behalf of our clients. We are keenly respected by our peers, and recognized as a knowledgeable firm with a balanced perspective. Other lawyers and former clients routinely refer new clients, and we have enjoyed significant growth since our inception.
As a significant part of the practice, Turnpenney Milne LLP acts as a neutral, third party investigator in many workplaces and engages in training on related topics including harassment, discrimination violence and respect in the workplace. We have successfully worked in this capacity in a wide variety of public and private sector organizations, many of which are unionized environments.
Turnpenney Milne’s lawyers all have a strong background in labour and employment law, and have routinely provided both advocacy and neutral legal and training services within Indigenous workplaces.
