Discover the trends, opportunities, and market insights shaping Indigenous trade in the Prairies.
As the second in a two-part series, CCIB’s Research team will host an upcoming webinar on July 16, 2026, at 11 a.m. MDT, 1 p.m. EDT, that will examine key findings from the recently released report Trade in the Prairies: Indigenous Businesses Navigating Shifting Trade Landscape.
Developed in collaboration with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce’s Business Data Lab and Prairies Economic Development Canada, the session will explore what these developments mean for Indigenous-owned businesses and highlight trade and export resources available to support Indigenous entrepreneurs.
Participants will gain insights into emerging trade trends, policy implications, and real-world experiences of Indigenous businesses across the Prairies, along with perspectives from policymakers and industry leaders on navigating today’s trade environment.
A session will conclude with a discussion featuring an Indigenous business panel.
