About Indigenous Insight

Indigenous cultural awareness training provides a valuable foundation, but it is not the same as Indigenous engagement training. Indigenous engagement training prepares non-Indigenous professionals to engage confidently and respectfully with First Nation leadership, including Chief and Council, as well as Indigenous band administration staff. It focuses on the knowledge, context, and practical skills required to build effective government-to-government and business relationships.

Indigenous Insight provides expert Indigenous engagement advisory services grounded in Aboriginal rights and title, colonization, and the truth that underpins reconciliation. My approach emphasizes truth before reconciliation, helping organizations understand Canada’s historical and ongoing realities while building respectful, informed relationships with First Nations. By addressing difficult conversations that others avoid, we equip clients with practical knowledge that creates stronger partnerships and meaningful competitive advantages.
