Indigenous Peoples and communities have strong economic and cultural ties to the forestry sector, however, little information is available on how Indigenous businesses operate in the industry.

CCIB undertook this research to provide baseline information to fill these gaps with data focused on the involvement of Indigenous businesses, specifically those from First Nations and Métis communities.
