Hilda Broomfield Letemplier

Hilda Broomfield Letemplier is the President of Pressure Pipe Procurement & Management Services which is 100% Inuit/Indigenous and an Inuk woman-owned business servicing large resource development projects in Labrador. To keep up with the diversity of her business endeavor, Ms. Broomfield Letemplier completed a project management fundamentals course to boost her leadership, project planning, and management skills as well as monitoring and control at the College of the North Atlantic, in St. John’s, NL.

Hilda has the pleasure and honor to serve on the National Indigenous Economic Development Board (NIEDB).  She truly gained a whole new perspective on the work of the NIEDB Board representing the First Nations, Inuit and Metis of Canada with regards to providing strategic policy advice to the federal government on issues related to Indigenous economic development while helping government to respond to the unique needs and circumstances of indigenous peoples in Canada. She served with the Newfoundland and Labrador Organization of Women Entrepreneurs (NLOWE) as the Labrador Regional Director from 2005 -2018.  During that time Hilda served as Chair and President from 2016 – 2018.

Pressure Pipe Procurement & Management Services is a proud affiliate of the Canadian Council of Indigenous Business (CCIB) and won the Canadian Aboriginal Minority Supplier’s Council (CAMSC) Business Achievement Award in 2012.

Hilda has the belief of diversity and inclusiveness as she is a Canadian Inuk woman who lives in the North.  As she is a rural entrepreneur in a non – traditional trade of mining this gives her a unique perspective on the needs of entrepreneurs, and she also portrays that in her NIEDB projects. In 2022 Hilda was recognized by NLOWE as a recipient of the Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in the category of Leadership.  Hilda champions the advancement of women in the entrepreneurial space and beyond.
