Marissa Magneson is a Cree, Métis freelance photographer from Toronto who specializes in event photography including, but not limited to corporate and non-profit businesses. Working closely with organizations such as ANDPVA, MusicFest Canada, Hydro One, CCAB and York University, Marissa has photographed various events such as galas, Pow Wow’s, workshops, lectures, panels, and musical performances. As an Indigenous artist, Marissa works to include Indigenous perspectives in her work while also respecting protocols through consultations with Elders and knowledge keepers.
