Zachary Knight Enterprises (ZKE) is a 100% Indigenous-owned consultancy rooted in lived experience and led by Stan Knight, a member of the Opaskwayak Cree Nation. ZKE provides strategic housing, inspection, and infrastructure services tailored to the unique needs of First Nations communities. With over 30 years of experience in housing, community development, and asset management, ZKE champions a “For Indigenous, By Indigenous” approach, emphasizing cultural relevance, local employment, and long-term sustainability.
Inspector in a Box (IIAB) is ZKE’s flagship innovation, designed to transform how Indigenous communities manage housing inspections and maintenance. IIAB equips Nations with a complete toolkit, including drones, thermal cameras, smartphones, and inspection software, paired with hands-on training that empowers local members to become certified home inspectors. This program reduces dependency on external contractors, supports funding applications, and creates career pathways in housing and asset management. Communities benefit through safer homes, job creation, and increased control over their housing futures.
