About Nipissing-Miller Limited Partnership

Nipissing-Miller Limited Partnership (NMLP) is a majority Indigenous-owned partnership between Nipissing First Nation (NFN) and Miller Paving Limited, delivering large-scale infrastructure, environmental, and construction services across Northern Ontario. NFN holds a controlling ownership interest, ensuring Indigenous governance, decision-making authority, and direct community benefit.

Since its formation in 2019, NMLP has delivered a diverse portfolio of complex civil and infrastructure projects, including highway, bridge and culvert rehabilitation, road construction, watermain and servicing works, aggregate supply and handling, soil remediation, and site development.

The partnership has successfully completed projects for the Ontario Ministry of Transportation (MTO), Nipissing First Nation, and local communities, with a strong track record of on-time delivery and compliance with rigorous environmental, safety, and regulatory requirements.

NMLP combines Miller Paving’s qualifications, technical expertise, equipment fleet, and construction capacity with NFN’s skilled local workforce, land stewardship, and regional knowledge.  A core focus of the partnership is building long-term Indigenous capacity through training, employment, and subcontracting opportunities for NFN members and member-owned businesses, reflecting a shared commitment to safe, responsible construction and meaningful Indigenous participation in major infrastructure projects.
