Jolene Robichaud from JR Fashion Designs is an Acadian and Mi’kmaw creator, and a registered band member in Indian Island First Nation (L’nu Minigog). She creates from unique perspectives by bringing her homelands to the forefront in all aspects of her artisan work. From using natural materials, to using cultural motifs, to getting inspiration from historical events and family members, all her work can be linked to her roots in Mi’kma’ki.
