About Cheryl's Trading Post

Cheryl’s Trading Post is a Certified Indigenous Business owned and operated by a Gitxsan woman. Established in 2011, the business specializes in authentic, Indigenous-made cultural goods sourced directly from Indigenous artists and makers across the Northwest Coast and other Nations.
Our offerings include handmade silver and carved jewelry, Cowichan knit sweaters, textiles, blankets, beadwork, and small gift items. Each piece is produced by Indigenous artists using traditional knowledge, materials, and techniques, with a strong emphasis on authenticity, fair compensation, and respectful representation.

Cheryl’s Trading Post operates primarily as an online business, with private viewings and select Indigenous-led events. We serve individual collectors, institutions, and organizations seeking genuine Indigenous products for gifting, cultural programs, and procurement needs.

The business is grounded in Indigenous values of respect, relationship, and care for community, while meeting professional standards required for institutional and corporate procurement
