A Survey of Aboriginal Economic Development Corporations in Ontario

Indigenous communities are increasingly turning to economic development to improve quality of life, self-sufficiency and to build a brighter future. Economic development corporations, or EDCs are a relatively new approach, but one that has proven very successful as a major economic driver in Indigenous communities. In May 2013, CCAB partnered with Environics Research Group to analyze the contributions of EDCs within Ontario.
