Freedom School Co. is an Indigenous-led consulting and personal development organization founded by Rachael Hunt, a member of the Chippewas of Nawash First Nation. As a Corporate Consultant, Rachael partners with organizations to strengthen internal capacity, enhance Indigenous employee retention, and create culturally safe pathways for leadership and success.
Our Indigenous Employee Empowerment Program is designed to help companies move beyond performative inclusion – supporting meaningful reconciliation through education, empowerment, and embodiment. Using our signature framework, The Freedom Method™, we integrate science-backed, trauma-informed, and Indigenous-led approaches that address both individual and systemic barriers faced by Indigenous employees.
Through consulting, workshops, and training, we help organizations cultivate workplaces that honour Indigenous identity, build trust, and foster advancement.
Our mission, called the Cycle Breakers Movement, also offers mentorship for Indigenous women, leaders and entrepreneurs focused on ancestral healing, leadership development, and sovereignty through subconscious & somatic reprogramming.
At Freedom School Co., we believe that when Indigenous folks are supported to thrive, organizations and communities rise together – creating ripple effects of well-being, success, and prosperity across Turtle Island.
