Bouchier

Bouchier began with a simple idea, a used dozer, and the drive to make a difference. Over the past 25 years, that entrepreneurial spirit has grown into one of Alberta’s most respected 100% Indigenous-owned and operated companies.

Bouchier is driven by a deeply held belief in a holistic, circular approach to business — looking beyond short-term gains to focus on long-term harmony with the land and the communities they serve. With nearly 1,400 team members — 38% of whom self-identify as Indigenous, representing nearly 90 Indigenous communities — and 22% Indigenous procurement, Bouchier is turning vision into measurable impact. More than just a business, it’s a company that gives back, builds meaningful relationships, and helps create a stronger future for all.

Bouchier operates a fleet of over 350 large pieces of equipment and delivers excellence across three service lines: Civil Contracting, Facility Services, and Logistics. As industry leaders, they specialize in civil contracting, facility maintenance, and logistics — providing everything from roads and earthworks to camp services and site support across the Athabasca oil sands and Alberta’s Industrial Heartland.

More than just a business – Bouchier is about connecting people and communities to what matters most. They care deeply about the places we work and live in and are committed to being responsible stewards of the environment and strong supporters of our communities.
